Just got some BCAA's...they are
-1200mg L-Leucine -600mg L-Isoleucine -600mg L-Valine My two questions are: 1) When is the best time to take them? I heard PWO, but im not sure if that's true. Also, for my PWO and PPWO I eat whole foods not a shake. My only shake is at 4 o'clock before I hit the gym at 5:30. 2) How many should I take? Again I heard three but just want to make sure. Don't know if you need my stats for this but I'm about 6'2 200lbs. Pretty solid tryin to lean out a bit. Work is at a desk but I do like a half hour of cardio every day and run in the morning on the weekends when I first wake up. Thanks for any help dont know if u "smarter" guys still check posts around here. |

I take them first thing in the a.m before cardio, and 15 minutes before training, and pwo. I also take 5-10g of glutamine at each time.
I go with 20g of BCAA's, 10g of glutamine and 5 more grams of leucine, it is the more anabolic of the amino's, plus the old ratio of 2:1 should be 4:1. |

Yea well each of the pills I have are a combination of the 3 compounds I listed above. so its technically 2.4g of the mixture....I guess I should buy some L-Glutamine as well.
For now I've been taking 3 of those after each workout. Would you say to take the L-Glutamine right before the workout? I'll definetly start taking 2 in the morning if I get up to run first thing before eating. |
