Why the hell not? MY puppy's 5 months and he's doing pretty well with the training.

Innova Evo, some of the best food for any dog besides of course a natural raw diet.

ITs not that i think he's too young, i just dont care to do it right now. He's still a puppy so i dont feel the need to start any training on him yet.

All the Doctors I've talked to (three of them) advise against a raw food diet. Not the best for them. The dogfood today has been specifically formulated for dogs and growth so they should do just fine on it.

Kind of like a vegan diet for humans, you have to incorporate different foods to make sure they get the vitamins/minerals they arent getting from regular dog food too.

Let me guess, then after that they told you how good the Science Diet stuff is, which they happen to just sell at there office right? If you don't want to go with the Evo, Innova regular food brand is top notch as well.

Here is a website that has a pretty good list of rankings for dog food. Although I think the Innova should be listed at 5 stars.

Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble

Ahhh, seems like 95% of vets I go to up here around Boston all recommend science diet and happen to sell it as well even though it sucks, I think Sceince diet pays off the vets personally. Look into the Evo though ( or anything from Innova) , it's like a raw diet but they add in lots of vegetables and fruit into the kibble but it just happens to be grainless so it's not really what your vet might think about a raw diet. It boils down to the fact that wolves would eat a naturally raw diet for many moons and dogs derive from wolves, a lot of people say raw is the way to go.
