Default tired of trying low carbs high protein, going no carbs high fat need help

ive been on and off dieting for 3 years. i started at 250 with a 42 inch waist all fat and now im a 33 inch waist at 200lbs with alot more muscle. i always diet real good during the day...
breakfast - 8 whites, 1 yolk 2 slices american cheese and ketchup
1/2 cup oats with 2 splenda and natty peanut butter
lift session..
post workout - either grilled chicken with light italian dressing and sometimes a yam sometimes no carbs
later on - 2 93 % lean patties with either ketchup or bbq sauce.
as of late i been messing up baaaad at night i know thats obviously not gonna help but for a while i was strict with cardio also and saw minor results. after i got my wisdom teeth out i been eating like crap. also alot of stress in my life now and i think the late night cravings have to do with that.
im trying to get back on the wagon and my friend is doing a high fat no carb diet. second time hes done it and he gets fantastic results fast.
anyone have suggestions for good tasting foods? i know u cant expect to eat good tasting things on a diet but ive found adding things like cento pepper salad to my grilled chicken gives it nice taste.
heres a before and after pic

best pic i have thats wen i was like 16 i only got fatter till i was 18 1/2, thats wen i joined nysc

this is the latest and greatest pic i took it was taken may 12th.

impressive and inspiring, i have had ups and down with weight, right now being an up time, and trying to get back to down again.

i can only tell you even when i was in great shape, i felt shit and thought i was fat, then got into the late night binging, and after i had gained 30lbs again, realised how good a shape i was in !! its a hard one and i dont wish on anyone.

best of luck, ive done loads of high fat/protein type atkins diets they work but very hard to stick to and have to be particularly anal to get into ketosis

Indeed, if you want to go that route, you can have half day carbs where you basically have carbs for breakfast , then have them in your post workout shake and your post shake meal with some carbs and protein. The rest of your meals can be fat and protein, just be sure to not have any carbs about 3-4 hours before bed unless you train late in the evening.

Here is a list of what i ate while on the anabolic diet.

Eggs, bacon, cheese
Waffles (almond flour, eggs, protein powder)
Turkey burgers with cheese
Tacos (use low carb tortillas, cheese, lettuce, etc)
Southwest Creamy Chicken (basically chicken, cheese, green chiles, cream of mushroom soup, and heavy whipped cream)
Cranberry Nut Muffins (from a recipe)

That's all i can think of right now but it should give you an idea of some foods you can eat. I ended up making a lot of things up on my own. I also bought a low carb cookbook and would find substitutes for the carbs they used to make the carb count minimal.

The southwest creamy chicken sounds good. You can also get 90% lean ground beef and throw some feta cheese in that mix, then make some burgers.

You may want to look into the Paleo diet...it was most crossfitters are doing these days. Lean meats, veggies and some fruit. no carbs in the form of grains or anything like that and no dairy.

It's a good diet. IA recommends it highly.
