I used to ride a CBR 929, it was all decked out, looked fvckin' sweet. Bought it brand new. But I was honest with myself and the only thing I really did on it was speed like a maniac. My max was 133mph on the rear wheel and 167mph on both wheels. So I sold it and bought a Honda Shadow Sabre. I love the thing. Its an 1100cc cruiser. Very comfy and great for just enjoying the freedom of 2 wheelin'. (yeah I know I'm lame)

JD....I wouldn't doubt for one sec. that you could hit 133 on the real wheel. I found that bike was the easiest to wheel. The balance it had with the front pulled up was 2nd to none.

I was never able to keep the front wheel high enough to be able to maintain the same speed while wheeling. I always had to increase speed to keep the wheel up. The 133 time I was going for distance and the longer I went the faster I had to go. Stunting was another reason I sold the 929. I didn't do many stunts towards the end of the time that I had it, but I was always speeding. A few years ago my sister was in the hospital for a few weeks. The hospital was about a 30 minute highway drive by car at normal speed from my house. Everytime I would go up to see her I would try to beat the time it last took me to get there. I got it down to like 8 or 9 minutes going like 130 the whole time. That's just not a smart thing to be doing. You can only race up and down the highway so many times before you end up in jail or a hospital or a morgue. That's when I sold it. So stupid me sets my tivo to record Super Bikes with Jason Britton. And wouldn't you know it I'm back in the market to buy a CBR 1000. I would keep my cruiser too. The 1000 would be only for speed. And then I'd be right back where I started from so I put that whole thing on hold. Then I was thinking of buying a race bike and racing or even just going to open track days and speeding around the track. I'm supposed to do that this summer with one of my buddies. We're going to the track in New Hampshire, should be a blast. If I had a race track close to where I live I would buy a race bike in a second, but I don't know how much I'll enjoy carting it 15 hours to ride it at a track. I was looking at the new ZX 14 and the shit that's coming out for liter bikes is just simply amazing. When I was flying down the highway on my 929 I felt like I was strapped to a missle. I couldn't imagine a ZX 14 or busa with a turbo!!
