But in this day people get excited and see what submission is what or what the other guy is going for and trying to do.
I agree it's exciting to see a submission, when it happens. Mir is too good for Lesnar now,but not for long imo..Basically every fighter that trains for Brock has to eliminate certain things, because they have no chance of overcoming his power. You could tell Mir was happy it ended the way it did and he got out of there imo....His face was turning into a punching bag,and regardless of anything else having lesnar anywhere near you is running a risk of getting decapitated...It's sorta like the mike tyson effect..Even though he loses it's always good to see someone lose being exciting....There's a reason the fans hate Tim Sylvia, and it's not because he loses all the time or brags too much..

It'll definitely be a piece of work to get BL into something where he can be fully productive with his power/athleticism,because like him or not he possess more of that then probably anyone we will see in awhile imo.. (for his size it's unreal)..

The thing is also Brock caught Mir's kick to take him down in the first place. I would like to see Brock's shot. I mean granted he's a very decorated collegiate wrestler. Mir doesnt really have good conditioning or even heart. He folds pretty quickly. Pe De Pano just pummeled the shit out of him pretty handily and without much contention. I would like to see Brock Lesnar more before I say he's good or bad or whatever. Until now I didnt see anything that stands out except for some big strong ass guy muscling his way around.

Now that is about as true as it can be...I won't argue with anything said...

If he gets some BJJ under his belt and Dana gives him some "confidence building" fights he will be a force in 2+ years. Tons of potential!!!

God i hope randy takes brock under his wing in his training camp. Brock is the new face of the heavy weight div. The guy is a monster and is fun to watch.

IMO, if brock had just backed off and let mir stand up, it would have been a diff outcome.

Brock is a big strong SOB that is one hell of a wrestler. And that's it. His standup is not good, and his bjj....well, we saw that.

Mir was a decent fighter before his wreck, but I think he was way over-rated. Now he is sloppy and shows no heart. Before you big Lesnar fans talk about how Mir was getting his ass beat....what's new? Go back and watch Mir's fights. His standup is deplorable. He always gets beat up. His BJJ is solid though.

Lesnar becoming a real force in MMA....if he gets with the right camp and he learns fast....yes he can be. I think SB hit the nail on the head when he said that Lesnar will probably get a shot at a brawler next and that will get him a chance to use his wrestling. His skills won't quite get him past anybody that's good, but he will be entertaining. Look for him to be a middle of the pack fighter.

Oh yeah, to say that he's been training for only two years is a bit misleading. He's been wrestling all his life. If you don't think the UFC's version of mma is perfect for a wrestler, look at: Randy, Matt Hughes, Matt Lindland, Dan Henderson, Quinton Jackson, Sean Sherk, Tito Ortiz, Dan Severn, the list goes on. So he's been training for this all his life. He has just recently been working on adding to his game for this sport. Wrestlers have the easiest time transitioning to MMA of any sport.
