irretated, imflamed disc lower back help

my phsio says iv irretated a discmaking it inflamed. i have had electro theropy (the sticky pads) and electro accupuncture.

the electrotheropy worked alot better, i am stil recovering now and its holding me back at the gym, i do stretches i was given by my physio

i am using
3g glucosamine sulphate
1.2g chonodroitin
2.25g msm
9g cod liver oil

are these sups ok? i no there are good for tendons but will they work for my problem?

what else can i do?

Give your body time to heal; you can't rush back injuries. You could probably use HGH for its rebuilding abilities, but thats going a bit far.

I'm not medical, however I wouldn't think their going to contribute anything significant to your healing. Minus the cod oil, what your taking looks like a Pre-packaged GNC "vitality or whatever" stack.

Backs need time to heal or you will keep enflaming it.
