Necessary to use Arimidex?

I'm about to start pct for a 11 week cycle of test E 500mg per week. Is it necessary to use Arimidex or would Nolva and Clomid be enough?

I was going to run 100mg of clomid and 20mg of nolva for 3 weeks then taper off to 50mg of clomid and 20mg of nolva for the remaining 3 weeks. 6 weeks total.

Any suggestions?

It's not necessary, it just helps to cover all your bases. You shouldn't have a problem recovering using just nolva and/or clomid however.

I prefer to use arimidex. nolva can block estrogen...but it does not prevent the conversion. When you stop the taking the nolva there can still be free estrogen in your system and with the lack of the Nolva there is nothing to stop it from binding to the receptor. Arimidex will prevent the conversion of estrogen and when you stop taking it there will be no estrogen to bind to the receptors. Plus it keeps me a bit dryer. PCT I would run would be as folows.

wk 1-4 100mg clomid
20mg nolva
.25mg l-dex/arimidex

wk 5-6 50mg clomid
20mg nolva
.25 mg l-dex eod

However my next PCT will most likely include Aromisim (sp)
