just a thought to consider, but i had back pains last year and it was from spasms..i got massage therapy and it was gone. that could explain why its only on one side...if it was inside the muscle, you should be able to tell i would think...if its bothering you though i would see a doc though, obviously

It could be stones, it could be an infection, it could be a nerve or muscle pain. The problem with generalized pain in the back is that it could be comming from many different places. Stones dont always pass and can cause this type of pain. Have you ever passed a stone? It really impossible to tell through the internet without some labs and such done. I would suggest seeing your doc who can do a renal ultrasound and some labs to narrow it down.

I'm with JOEYZ on this call. the symptoms you're decribing and the location of the pain sounds like kidney stones. You'll know pretty soon if it's a stone soon enough........if it is a stone the pain will get worse depending on the size of the stone of course. Some guys I know pass small ones now and then. I on the other hand had a large one and it was some serious pain bro let me tell you. Damn that fucker hurt like hell.................but god bless the doctor and those wonderful little pills he has!
