Buying a used motorcycle!!!

K so i'm looking into this Suzuki SV650s today... I'm making a little trip to go see this guy and check out the bike. has 4k miles and is an '03

what kind of questions should I be asking?

What do i need to look for on the bike?

this will be my first bike, and first vehicle purchase... i've already talked him down to $4000 cash but i'm going to shoot for $3800. The price listed is $4500 and the blue book is $4600, so i think i'm getting a good deal (if everything is ok with the bike)

theres a few aftermarket parts, a full body fairings kit, a full micron exhaust and a power commander (programmer type thing?).

what does everyone think? i need some input on the bike and tips on buying.

welp nevermind. i bought it today... along with gear and some other crap for the bike. all in all i spent 5k today.

i plan on hitting the PCH up this weekend. give me a few weeks and we can cruise.

that's a bit of a trip for me but i'd definitely do it. itsmike is picking up his tomorrow...

you sure you wanna ride with a couple of punkass' on streetbikes? haha i'll let ya know man

It is a long ride but it is bitchin headin up the coast. We stop at the hot beaches and check out the sluts.....
