Ive not taken the time to read all the posts in this thread bc its basically turned into a whore fest, but it is possible for men to be carriers of the HPV virus and never show signs. Having said that, HPV is not a death sentence, meaning that it most likley wont be with you for the rest of your life like herpes or aids. Doctors are now saying that most strands of HPV run their course and go away after awhile (I belive it was 1-2 years).

Also, wearing a condom doesnt protect you from HPV bc it lives on the skin around the genitals as well as directly on them.

How do I know this? I had a threesome with a chick a few years ago and the bitch gave me warts. Well I ended up with two warts and went to the doc and had them removed and havent had any sign of them since. Ive went back for checkups and they told me the virus was no longer with me. Ive had several relationships since then where we had constant unprotected sex and none of my partners have had anything.

the army won't test for hpv specifically unless there is a reason. it's not a qtip in your peehole test, it's bloodwork. they will automatically check for herpes, which is something completely different. when you go to get checked out, make sure you ask about hpv specifically

Yes the military tests for syphilius, AIDS and the clap or something like that. The other one which you dont know you have until your tested.

As for HPV, they do not test for this in your initial screening. Down the road, your going to need to ask for it exclusivly.
