Default Posible thyroid?

I have never used T3 or any thyroid hormones before.

But for sometime now whenever I do check my temp (which isnt too often)

It is always about a degree or 2 below normal 98.6

It hasnt really seemed to mess with my normal apperance as far as fat storage or energy levels but still is somewhat concerning.

I have yet to get bloodwork done on my thyroid hormones mainly because of expense and since it hasnt really shown to much of a problem yet.

I can date this back to 3 years ago when I first noticed after a really nasty car wreck.

I doubt ill do anything about it until it becomes bothersome but what is everyone elses opinion on the matter is it one of those things I should really get checked out???

Good question. Personally, I would not take anything untill blood work having a full thyroid panel done. I know its normal for one's body temp to flucuate a degree or two depending on the time of day.

But a constant two degree below taken in the morning at wakening and bedtime indicates possible hypothyroidism or low output. I have learned a great deal about the thyroid because my wife has thyroid issues. In fact, she had Goiter enlarged thyroid and her symtom was huge bulging eyes! Like Graves desease.

Adrenal glands can also cause low body temp too.

Yes, as said above, it could be because of adrenal glands, etc...

The fact is, is that most people do NOT have a BBT in the 98's, and what you're experiencing is not uncommon...

Personally, my BBT is usually in the high 96 range upon waking... low, yes.

You could, of course, get your thyroid tested, etc... but if it were me, I would grab some T-100x/Thyroid Energy and take ~2caps a day, and continue to check your BBT.

A friend of mine's g/f did so, and it actually helped her BBT out greatly even after stopping usage.

Good to know... since there really isnt anything bothersome going on Im going to try the T-100x and if there is still discrepencies Ill get bloodwork done

I have insurance but they still rape me on bloodwork charges so im hessitant but ultimatley I might have to get some taken.
