I've been telling my buddies with shoulder problem to do this, after it worked for me.

It's helped to some extent for all of them.

Maybe I should look into this. My shoulder has been thru hell (3 cortisone shots, 1 surgery). It doesnt irritate me much in the gym, but some days it can be killer.

I am sorry but this exercise sucks and did nothing for me personally. I practically dislocated my shoulder while trying to do it.

ITS SUPPOSED to do that. It felt 100x better after the 'near dislocation' for me.

Use a beach towel, then work your way up to the broomstick. You're talking to a guy with 9 dislocations in his left and 5 dislocations in his right shoulders, in a period of 3 years!!!

I have not had one shoulder dislocation since I begain that exercise!

YUP!... Ya gotta keep at it. Feels weirder en hell at first. But, damn if doesn't make the shoulders feel great after a few weeks....
