I'm often refered to as the "Old Man"....don't really know why though, I'm a damn young 47, who feels like he just turned 30.
I got a very late start at lifting and the whole bodybuilding lifestyle. I was in my early thirties before I ever picked up a weight, and weighed in at a whopping 145 lbs soaking wet at a height of 5'10". I used to have a slight drinking problem, which I have long kicked.
Anyways, I lifted naturally until I was about 43, and had gotten up to just over 200 lbs. I was reading Muscle & Fitness one day and came across an article about the symptoms of low testosterone, I had a few of them so I made a doctors appointment and got myself tested. Low and behold the results came back at the low normal end of the scale, so he started me on HRT.
It wasn't long after that when I started researching steroids, discovered the boards, and decided to try a cycle, since I figured I was already half way there being on HRT. I cut my teeth at Smart Muscle, then BodyBuildingExtreme, then Steroidology.
I ran into some BP problems on my second cycle and suffered some fairly significant LVH, that still is a problem today. You'll often see me getting into some good discussions, warning guys of the dangers of untreated high BP, as I don't ever want to see anyone else suffer through what I did.
Like everyone else here, I really enjoy the boards, helping out where and when ever I can, and also learning more about all aspects of this lifestyle along the way.
Life is one big journey, and the more educated you can be about it, the more enjoyable it will be.
Well, I guess that's it for my little bio.
