NAME: Mitchell Gosling DATE OF BIRTH: 17.06.1976 WHICH GYM DO YOU TRAIN AT? Fitness First St Pauls Central London HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TRAINING? 10 Years
The first 2 years I did not enjoy the bodybuilding as it was such hard work especially after a night out on the town. When I started to see the results, my bodybuilding journey began. I competed in my first bodybuilding competition in December 2000 The Stars Of Tomorrow first timers class I took 1st place and qualified for the British final 2001, finisning 3rd place overall .I nexted competed at the West Midlands intermediates over 80kg 2002 taking 1st place and went on to win the British finals intermediates under 80kg. I took a year out to travel and another year to study and further my knowledge as a personal trainer and bodybuilder. In 2004 I competed in Lamington Spar in a high standard show against competitors like Troy Brown taking 1st place and qualifying me for the British finals where I placed 4th overall. Due to a serious back injury while doing a leg press I thought my career as a competitive bodybuilder had come to an end. In 2006 I made a comeback wining the South East championships as a light heavy weight qualifying me for the British finals, where the competition was tuff and I disappointedly did not make top five. Bodybuilding has shown me that consistency is the way to a wining physic. I intend to compete in 2007 as a light heavy. Between now and then I will be concentrating on adding as much muscle mass as possible. HOW HAS YOUR TRAINING AFFECTED YOUR LIFE? I first started training at the well known gym Wag Bennett Gym in Forest Gate and forced myself to train and transform my skinny frame into a sculptured body. I always looked at bodybuilding magazines and dreamed about owning a body of beauty, that’s when it all started I had just turned 20 when I joined my first gym.
